010; I've been busy.

Sunday, September 28th, 2008.
Home base.
Watching football.

I went to my first funeral yesterday. Drove all the way to Tallahassee and back in one day. My mom and aunt in one car for five hours is kind of silly.

I've been pretty busy, though.

Tonight, after I finish doing my laundry, I'm going to go play Force Unleashed with Izzy and Josh. Can't wait.

I also have to take a shower.

I'm actually watching the Gilmore Girls right now, so it will have to wait.

009; Phone call.

Thursday, September 25th, 2008.
In the living room.
Nothing.

Jedi-grandma called me a little while ago. Apparently my uncle Ricardo died this morning. No one knows how or why.

It just now hit me.

008; Umbrella?

Thursday, September 25, 2008.
Outside the 00HQ.
Waiting.

So, apparently, I've sharpened my rather large umbrella. It's a St. Petersburg Time's umbrella with comics on it. It has a huge metal tip (not really good for thunderstorms and lightning, but pretty hot for zombie impalling).

The boy just dropped me off, and, in his words "I'll wait till you get inside, you know, just in case of zombies."

Sometimes I wonder if he's making fun of me. Oh well.

Izzy and I will protect him and everyone else in the end, so whatever. He'll thank me in the end. :)

Holy shit! I just looked up internships for the New York times. HOLY SHIT.

An editing internship pays $924 a week. And accomodations are only about $250 a week. SCORE!

It's really hard to get it. No worries. It's my new goal. I can do this.

You know, if zombies don't destroy everything first. :(

007; News.

Tuesday, September 23rd, 2008.
In class.
Half listening.

I'm in Religion right now but I had to take a moment out to write this. I was looking through world news, just for kicks and giggles (lulz), and found something interesting.

I'll try and find the article again but apparently a body went missing somewhere in Malaysia.

The body was set to be autopsied, having died out of nowhere for no apparent reason, but when the mortician returned the body was gone. If that doesn't scream zombie, nothing does.

Except, of course, all the people when they finally attack. I'm on to them.

I'll have to call Izzy.

006; Back.

Monday, September 22, 2008.
Atop the 00 HQ.
Catching up.

Sorry. Haven't had internet for a few days. I spent time in Orlando.

Lots of things happened. I went to Believe, hung out with everyone, played Risk, won Risk, trolled wrestlers, got macked on by an extremely drunk fellow, and was added to an exclusive message board. Busy busy.

I really need to clean this room. Shame on me.

But I really need to read this Nothing Human by Nancy Kress by Wednesday. Urg.

I should be getting to that right now, actually.

Okay, peace.

005; Primping out.

Thursday, September 18th, 2008.
My room.
Primping.

I got in the mood to be girly again *hangs self*. It's okay. The Cardigans make even girly moods okay.

I need to tidy up this room, e-mail my homework, and pack up for Believe tomorrow.

Josh is coming tonight. I can finally get sustenance in this dorm. And a pot pie. I really want a pot pie.

Now if only Walmart supplied crowbars. One of the handiest weapons for zombie survival. This zombie thing has gotten out of hand. It all started out as a joke.

Izzy had the Zombie Survival Guide and we always joked about how he would get scared reading it. Then with just one trip to Applebee's, and I don't even remember why this all happened, the zombie bug hit me.

With a growing fear and Josh and Izzy's growing fascination with zombie movies this all blew out of proportion.

Josh was a goner. With both Izzy and I on the zombie track, he was bound to catch the fear bug.

Now, when we go to a restaurant or anything Izzy and I scope out the place for potential weapons and safe spots. It's a little silly, but necessary.

The day will come. I like to pretend it won't, but we all know. Goddamn zombies.

004; Being productive.

Wednesday, September 17th, 2008.
Outside the 00 HQ.
Taking a break.

I'm actually doing homework. Yes!

Josh interrupted me just now with a phone call, but I'm almost done, so that's cool.

I just realized that I need to read a book by next Wednesday. Nothing Human, by Nancy Kress, she's coming to my Mass Comm. class. I missed today's speaker, Jane Healy. >:(

I'm sitting just outside the HQ and I opened my blinds for the first time. I usually just have my curtains over it and turn on my light. Clearly I am retarded as I chose to open the blinds as the sun is setting and very little light is actually coming through.

I have so many books to read. I really just want to read the zombie survival guide. We must prepare ourselves for the inevitable.

I have so many things to read and watch and I haven't had to the time because I've been procrastinating on the internate. For shame.

Really now.

My Joker poster looks like it's going to come down. I have to fix that.

I made the horrible mistake of looking at decor blogs. Now I'm just like :( I want money and an apartment to decorate. Damn dorm room. Damn Bank of America, who is not giving me my money.

When the zombies attack, they should be the first to go.

Okay, back to being productive.

Peace.

003; I should be sleeping.

Wednesday, September 17th, 2008.
Above the 00 HQ.
Not sleeping.

Yeah, I should be sleeping. But I'm not. I'm on the phone with Josh. I'm catching up on my Zombie survival guide.

Why the fuck am I not sleeping?

I have class tomorrow at 8:35. Urgh. I should be sleeping. Not cool. Not cool.

Fuck zombies.

Oh, and Josh is on the phone telling me facts about Tom Green and Freddy Got Fingered. Excuse me while I take a shotgun to the head.

Squish.

002; I've got some beef with this.

Tuesday, September 16th, 2008.
Just outside the 00 HQ.
Procrastinating.

Okay, I get it, The Dark Knight was fucking awesome. I know, I was there at midnight trying not to shoot the people in front of me going "OMGNOWAIII!!HARVEYDENTISABADGUY!??!?!".

Yeah. I have a Joker poster on my wall, opposite the Marvel poster.

The Dark Knight was fucking awesome. But, shut the fuck up.

There were others movies this summer. And they were good too. The Dark Knight may have been the best one, but it wasn't the only one.

I'm tired of hearing people go on about how great a movie it was and completely forget every other film out in theatres.

Iron Man was fucking cool too. Get Smart, Stepbrothers, and Tropic Thunder were all pretty damn funny. I've also been told by a reputable source (who went to see the movie without me) that Pineapple Express was hilarious.

There were a bunch of movies out and everyone's pretending like they didn't exist.

I know that there are at least a few people out there who, when asked what their favorite movie was this summer, just say The Dark Knight because they know no one will contest it. Not everyone thought it was the hottest movie of all time.

It's just not possible. In fact, I know two who thought it was just simply too long. They are, however, the only two who would say anything against the movie.

I love Batman, and I certainly love this new Batman (makes me forget Batman and Robin ever happened), but give credit where credit is due.

Okay, done now. Time to actually do the homework.

-00Ballistic

001; And here we go.

Tuesday, September 16th, 2008.
Deep inside 00 HQ.
Avoiding homework.

Alright, let's get rolling.

This is the introductory post, I guess.

Here's the deal.

  • I'm a chick.
  • I'm a college student.
  • I'm broke (big surprise).
  • The 00 HQ is actually a fort under my dorm bed.
  • The 00 HQ needs more to it.
  • The 00 HQ is meant to be a zombie prevention bunker.
  • I can be mean.
  • I don't like most people.
  • I curse, alot.
  • I'm going to write about some rather random shit sometimes.
  • Nine times out of ten I'll be procrastinating something.
  • That other one time, I'm really proud.

And that's really all for now. We'll set up a steady relationship later. I really need to do that homework now.

Peace.
